Want to see the Flash, simply click the blocked Flash image and it magically appears. I think it works better than any Flash blocker on any browser that I have tried. #CLICKTOFLASH FIREFOX MAC OS#I have found one Safari plug-in that I urge all Safari users to try.ĬlickToFlash is a “Flash-blocking plug-in for Safari on Mac OS X”. I personally like the fact that there are not a ton of Safari plug-ins available. Extensions are useful however too much of anything is never good. One thing that set’s Safari back from Chrome and Firefox is the ability to add functional/useful extensions (plug-ins). That said, Safari’s integration with OS X and it’s various apps make it my browser of choice (followed closely by Chrome). I finally succumbed to peer-group pressure the existence of /photos/timbray/ makes me a hip Web2.0 kinda guy, they say.Why was everyone keeping this plug-in from me? I love Safari yes I actually do! It isn’t the fastest and it isn’t perfect by any stretch. Maxthon - Maxthon is deceptively powerful, stuffed with lots of little features that you would never discover unless you knew they were there. Browsing with Tor is slower than the mainstream browsers, and because your location is effectively randomised, using sites that change content depending on your location – such as Netflix, for example – can be tricky. The various geographical hops do have some disadvantages. The browser can also be run directly from a USB thumb drive, so there’s no traces left behind on the host computer. Why might you want to hide your location or identity? Of course, there are all manner of nefarious reasons, but there are some pretty strong legitimate ones too, such as whistleblowing from inside an organisation, to avoid having your browsing activity traced by an employer, or to post with complete anonymity on a forum or messageboard. It reroutes your internet traffic around a host of volunteer relays across the world, making it incredibly difficult – if not impossible – for anyone to trace the sites you visit back to your individual IP address. The Tor Browser - The Tor Browser has a simple purpose: to prevent others from tracing your internet activity. We’re not quite sure what to make of filters that allow you to render web pages in sepia or black and white, but we’re glad someone’s willing to experiment with the web browser again. There’s also a barrage of keyboard shortcuts for power users, and Vivaldi says it’s working on “spatial navigation” so that you never have to lift your hands off the keyboard to navigate the web. There’s a facility for making notes on web pages, which although poorly implemented in the current early preview, could potentially be a boon for research. Tabs can also be docked to any side of the screen: top, left, right or bottom. Tabs can be dropped onto one another to form groups (one for webmail, for example, and another for social networks), potentially making the top of the screen less cluttered for those who like to work with a fistful of open tabs. It’s not just a tribute band, however Vivaldi brings some fresh ideas to the fore. The Opera heritage is immediately apparent: the “Speed Dial” grid of favourite websites that appears on new tabs has been lifted directly from the mothership, and the integrated mail client (not yet implemented) is another old Opera idea. Medications such as methotrexate, Arava, the anti-TNF drugs (Enbrel, Humira, Remicade) are all used to try to reduce prednisone.Created by Jon von Tetzchner, the founder of Opera, Vivaldi eschews the current trend for minimalist browsers. Osteoporosis, increased risk of heart disease, increased risk of infections, weight gain are all assocaited with low dose prednisone use. There has been increased recognition on the long term side effects of prednisone based on clinical studies. ** right now I am currently on two 200mg celebrex a day, 3 ultram a day, 5mg prednisone, Arava, 150mg iron. Are there any sub drugs out there to take instead that might work as well? Or do you know of any currently in the works? Are there any drugs or herbal suppliments I can take to help fight against the effects of prednisone so taking 7mg a day might be ok for the rest of my life?ģ. Is there a more safe dose to take for the body long term at my age that can help prevent the long term damage?Ģ. I figure with my case of RA as bad as it is and having Fibro as well as a bad case of iron deficiency anemia, that this drug just might be with me forever. I heard of the hardening of arteries, the knee replacements etc. I am only 34yrs old and worry that this might be something i need to take forever. I was told this could happen as a reaction to tapering off, but don’t know if that is what is going on or if I need more medication. They brought me down to 5mg a day and now I am fully flairs and swollen in the face, eye lids, middle of my back, lower back, arthritis spots etc. I was doing ok at 7mg but not as good as 10. Currently I have been on prednisone for a year now. We were there in time to watch a 15-minute clip about the Cape’s natural history and its possible future. There’s a small museum showing the history of the Cape, a gift store where I bought two water bottles, and even a theater, which shows various short films throughout the day.
